DO YOU FEEL QUICKENING TOO?

Can you feel it too?

The pace is picking up again as we move closer to autumn.

Your kids are scurrying to get fresh school supplies and get back into groove for school. Parents and caregivers are getting into groove of having kids back in school. Or maybe you're getting used to one less at meals if a child has headed off to his or her next great chapter of school, work, travel, etc.

Swimsuits and flip-flops will soon be replaced with sweaters and swirls of scarves. Apples are waiting to be picked in local orchards. Bits of gold are appearing here and there in the trees as you take that daily walk in nature.

Geese are scooting 'round the skies. Sometimes in neat Vs. Sometimes more of a sassy scramble, if there's no particular southern destination quite yet.

What's picking up in your life as we move further into September?

What new horizons are you eyeing for this fall? Are there challenges to be tackled? Dreams to pursue? Maybe you're taking a course or going back to school. Taking on a new job that calls to you or maybe a volunteer project to give back with your hands and heart.

What new creative adventures are calling to you as the weather gets chilly and you stay inside a little more? A book to start writing? A colorful new craft to pursue? Recipes to perfect in the kitchen. Maybe tweaking one of your great-grandma's recipes so it's a lil healthier.

Whatever you do, do it with gusto. Do it with great intention. Do it with glee.

Imagine the recipient of your beautiful handcrafted gift grinning ear to ear. Envision a child reading your picture book - over and over and over. See the happy faces of family or friends sampling a delicious new dish you created for them with great love.

This is a great time to feel that quickening and make some magic, isn't it?

Start today! Someone will love you for it. Or maybe just you - and that's quite dandy too.
