LAST SPARKLES OF THE SEASON...

They say all good things must come to an end. Maybe not all good things - all the time.

But Christmas lights are one of those lovely, traditional seasonal gifts that dazzle so many of us with their beauty and magic. But only for a short, wonder-filled window in time.

Always a sparkly new tableau when snow sifts down and frosts the lane in hushed delight. My lil pup Ollie and I loved walking that lane - waving to and chatting with drivers slowly moving along in rapt awe. Mouths open, eyes dance, fingers point. Windows roll down to capture strains of carols synced with lit trees. Pure sensory treats.

Great anticipation each time I head up the hill. Takes my breath away each time. Captivating scene, isn't it? Even Santa looks transfixed while surveying his realm...

Can't ever have enough seasonal sparkle in our lives, can we? How will you add a lil sparkle to your holiday season next year?
