SCATTERING SEEDS OR JUST SCATTERED?

For the past several months, I've been away from this blog scattering tiny, possibility-filled seeds. Hopefully, on welcoming, fertile ground to encourage newness, growth, and abundance.
Little Linda Appleseed...
Maybe you've been scattering seeds of possibility since the new year began too.
That's what I told myself anyway as I focused on my sometimes random-looking scattering.
1. I've been earnestly seeking the very best people to help me expand my Organic Puppet Theatre platform. All to encourage kids and families around the world to eat more nourishing food, be more active (especially outdoors), and become more deeply, profoundly connected with family, community, and world! Help get everyone healthier and happier.
2. Then, I scattered seeds over the exciting, new Cloudburst Foundation based in Lecco, Italy. Long, lively journey with a dear Peace Child pal to build a life-affirming, global adventure that' will launch at Milan's World Expo in Milan in Sept 2015. (More to come as events unfold.)
3. I've also sent out seeds to re-discover where I belonged in the world and where to bloom next - after losing my dad and then my mom just a year later. Trading being there for them with love to shaping a whole new role as final loose ends get tied up. Time to move on with more confidence, and hopefully, more security.
.
4. Throughout these past months, I've also scattered seeds of renewed passion for inner work of all kinds. Re-connecting to Source and being open to greater goodness, and abundance - coming from many unexpected channels.
And through it all, tossing out perfectionism to embrace being imperfectly perfect. (Watch for a snippet on this topic in Jane Bluestein's upcoming book, The Perfection Deception: Why Trying to Be Perfect is Sabotaging Your Relationships, Making You Sick, and Holding Your Happiness Hostage.)
Maybe this has been the path for many of you too - especially that perfectionism part...
Scattering in small bursts. Baby steps. Reaching out. Doing something new. Being open to new people and places - even if they don't appear right away or they come in so quietly, we don't even recognize them at first or at all...
So, whether I was intentionally scattering or just being scattered at times, as I bounced off and contemplated new possibilities, it's about time to let go and let God take over. The ultimate Gardener.
Put all those enticing seeds aside for now. Move onto watering. Let the sunlight shine warmly and brightly on all of them.
As spring springs on Mother Earth again, I'm ready to see which ones are meant to poke through the soil and grow. Some may have fallen on rocky or storm-tossed soil. Some might have been eaten by a curious deer, goose, or wild turkey. Yet, some may grow so lush and so high that they'll blow my mind in wondrous ways.
That's part of this wild, wacky, always surprising journey called life, right?
So, may any seeds you've joyfully scattered over the past months to expand your lives sprout soon. Let go and let them grow in their own good time, so they'll delight you in the most unexpected ways.
Now, time for me to let go too. I won't even labor over this post as I have in the past with other posts. Trying to make it as perfect as possible.
But maybe I'll scatter a few more wee seeds just for a moment - and just for good measure! Can't resist.
You too?
Sassy Scattering!
